Service Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Engage in a 3-week training program to learn the essentials in repairing home and office
furniture
· Be taught to diagnose, maintain, service and repair furniture at a variety of residential and
commercial locations across the metroplex
· Actively participate in regular on-the-job skill trainings as well as personal leadership and
development activities leading you to cultivate a thriving career with AHM
· Be empowered to meet satisfaction from every customer, every time
· Build and maintain healthy relationships with customers, clients and AHM team partners
· Coordinate with AHM team members to proactively prepare parts and supplies for anticipated
needs of our customers
· Answer service calls to troubleshoot and diagnose repairs and complete required onsite repairs
· Attend and participate in all AHM required trainings and staff meetings
· Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and locations
· Complete required service reports and follow other AHM operating procedures and policies
· Perform other tasks as assigned

Education, Experience and Training

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Must have valid driver’s license with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within the acceptable
parameters of Company Policy required
· Must be able to lift and move 100 lbs.
· Proven work history demonstrating key competencies: Coachability; Mechanical aptitude;
ability to work within a team; effective written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated
and disciplined; forward thinking; able to plan, prepare and problem solve; provide quality
customer care
· Willing to perform other tasks or duties as assigned
